FAQ's Holiday


Ques.1 What does the Package include?

Package includes the hotel accommodation for 2 adults & 2 children below the age of 8 years without extra bed for 4 nights on twin sharing basis with Rs 1000/- meal credit.

Ques.2 What is the validity of the Package?

Travel package is valid for maximum of 12 months from the date of Purchase. The journey must be completed before completion of 12 months from the date of Purchase. Date of purchase is the same as Date of Invoice.

Ques.3 Till when can I send the hotel Booking Reservation Form?

You can send the hotel booking reservation form so as to reach the Scheme Coordinator within 11 months from the date of purchase of your package.

Ques.4 How many hotel reservation request forms can be clubbed together?

This is not a Group Package. If any group is found treating the package as a group package, we reserve the right to disqualify the package for that group. Maximum of two hotel reservation request forms can be clubbed together.

Ques 5. What if I have 2 or more packages on my name & I want to utilize the benefits of the packages together?

In case you have 2 or more packages on same name you can avail the benefits of 1 package at 1 time.

Ques 6. What is the process I need to follow to avail the package?

Step 1: Decide on 2 destinations and 2 dates flexible with a gap of minimum 7 days in between.

Step 2: Send through Courier/Speed Post the required documents to "Redemption Cell" or submit your request online so as to reach minimum 21 days prior to the date of travel.

Step 3: Receive your confirmation of Hotel booking voucher.

Ques.7 What are the documents required at the time of hotel booking?

The documents required at the time of hotel booking are:

  • Duly Filled Booking Request Form in Original mentioning name of the travelers.
  • Photo Identity Proof of travelers. ( e.g. Copy of Driving License etc.)
  • Photo copy of Passport of Traveler's (For International booking)
  • Photo copy of Invoice given at the time of Purchase

Ques.8 How will you decide on destination and date options given by me?

We will try to secure your booking at the desired destination by giving flexibility of + or – 2 days from the desired two options given by you. The 2 desired dates should have a minimum gap of 7 days. The date shall be confirmed after your approval only.(For e.g. f you prefer Goa for 17th October or 25th October and if the rooms are not available on both the dates we will give you a confirmation for either 15th or 16th October or 18th or 19th October or 23rd or 24th October or 26th or 27th October whichever available with your approval)

Ques.9 What if my documents get lost in the courier?

Request you to kindly send the documents through reputed courier only. In case Service Provider does not receives your documents, right to avail the package will be forfeited. Or you can submit your booking request online. In absence of any communication from the scheme coordinator within 7 days of your sending the documents /online booking request please all on the helpline number.

Ques.10 Is it mandatory that both the travelers have to be customer to avail travel package?

No, only one of the travelers needs to be a customer other can be a non-customer.

Ques.11 Can I transfer the benefits of this package to any other person?

The travel privilege is only for the customer. It is a nontransferable package.

Ques.12 Can I plan my trip before I receive my travel package?

It is advised not to plan your trip before you receive your travel package because the request for confirmation of hotel booking must reach us minimum 21 days prior to the date of travel.

Ques.14 What are the office timings?

The office timings are 10:30 am To 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Ques.15 When and how will I get the hotel booking Confirmation voucher?

On receipt of Hotel Booking Form along with duly required documents you will receive a confirmation message of receipt and If your booking is within the period of 15-20 days then your booking will be done within 7 days of receipt of voucher & you will be intimated about the destination booked and if is for later period then you will receive the confirmation 30 days prior to the check in date. You will receive the hotel name through SMS & E-mail both only 3 days prior to the check in date.

Ques.16 How and when will I get the Rs. 1000/- (One thousand only) meal credit?

Ques.16 How and when will I get the Rs. 1000/- (One thousand only) meal credit?

Once your booking has been confirmed you will receive the confirmation voucher which would instruct the hotel to provide you the food credit worth Rs. 1000/- and the same will be adjusted from your food & beverage bill at the time of check out.

Ques.17 Can this food credit be adjusted against other facilities provided at the hotel like laundry, bar, extra bedding etc.?

Regret this credit is only for the food consumed at the hotel. There is no provision for cash refund or any other adjustment.

Ques.18 If I take a Package then which category accommodation will I receive?

The hotels offered are deluxe category hotels where ever possible. The hotels offered are selected keeping in mind general taste and convenience of travelers.

Ques.19 What is the check in and check out time at the hotel?

General check in time at the hotel is 1400 hrs and check out time is 1200 hrs. It is up to the hotel to decide to provide you early check in or late check out if required. VisionRoots or Service Provider shall not be responsible for the same.

Ques.20 In case of an extra person what are the conditions and availability of extra bed?

In case of child age below 8 years. No Extra Charges (accommodation without extra bed shall be provided).For Adult/child above 8 yrs of age. Extra person charges are applicable as per hotel norms and are to be paid directly to concerned hotel.

Ques.21 Is there an exclusion period or time when we can not avail this package?

Yes, there is an exclusion period for each destination as mentioned in front of each destination in destination list page.Also right to avail the hotel booking for all destinations will be restricted for 2 days prior & 2 days afterwards of National Holidays and festivals. For eg.- Diwali, Dussehra, Holi, 2nd October, 15th August, 26th January etc.

Ques.22 If I avail the international travel package then what facilities will be made available to me?

If availing international travel package hotel accommodation along with breakfast at the hotel shall be provided.

Ques.23 If I have multiple vouchers can I avail more nights of hotel stay ?

No, you cannot club multiple vouchers to avail more nights of hotel stay.

Ques.24 What is the Hotel Voucher Cancellation Procedure?

No, you cannot club multiple vouchers to avail more nights of hotel stay.

Ques.25 For any reason if I am not able to use my Confirmed Hotel Voucher, is there any way in which I can rebook the same?

Hotel booking once confirmed cannot be altered or modified. In case the customer does not utilize the booking no alternate option is offered.

Ques. 26 Can I break hotel stay to book two night at one destination and balance two night on second destination and avail hotel journey accordingly?

Regret this is not permitted. Against a single voucher you are entitled for holiday at single place and avail journey only for one destination. You cannot break room nights to avail stay at two different locations.

Ques.27 If a person wants to utilize less nights out of four nights allocated for a hotel stay, will he be able to get any additional facility from hotel?

If in any case instead of 4 nights the customer wants to utilize less nights, no other facility from VisionRoots or hotel's end will be provided to the customer. He will not be authorized to utilize his pending nights later on or club these nights with any other voucher.

Ques. 28 Can I club the benefits of package with any other package?

No, you cannot club any two different kinds of packages.

Ques.29 Are there any hidden charges which one may have to face later on?

There will not be any hidden charges or surprise cost payable by the travel voucher holder.

PROCESS & TERMS – ADVANTAGE PACKAGE

1) For Online Redemption: Log on to web link www.visionroots.co.in enter your registered mobile no. and request for OTP (one time password) generation. Password will be sent on mobile number registered at time of purchase.

2) For Postal Redemption :Please send form attached in booklet through registered post or reputed courier to following address Redemption Cell-SCO 705, Second Floor, NAC, Manimajra, Chandigarh, U.T., Pin 160101

Steps for redemption

2) Choose the 1 destination and 2 different dates where you would like to go for a holiday from the list provided. Select your 1st preferred date minimum 21 days from day when you are requesting. To secure a confirmed booking you will be required to give two date options with minimum 7 days gap between each date that you have chosen.
3) Attach the copy of Invoice and ID proof. (For online redemption) .Photocopy of invoice and ID proof to be attached along with redemption form in postal claims.
4) You will receive your confirmation from our holiday coordinators within 7 days of raising request. Confirmation will be sent on your e-mail id registered at time of raising request.
5) Take a printout of the confirmation and reach desired destination on date confirmed to enjoy your holidays.

Documents Required-

- Duly filled booking request form in original.
- Photo Identity proof of the traveler. (E.g. Copy of Driving license etc.)
- Photocopy of Invoice (Purchase proof).
- Photo copy of Passport of Traveler's (For International booking only)

Terms and Conditions (Advantage Package)

1. The booking request form entitles the customer for 4 nights Hotel accommodation for 2 adults & 2 children under the age of 8 years sharing same room without extra bed. In addition to the hotel accommodation the customer will also get free meal worth Rs 1000/-(One Thousand only) as per the menu card of hotel during Domestic stay and while availing the hotel accommodation at International destinations the customer will get free breakfast only.

*Please note: Meal credit: shall be adjusted against meal consumed at the hotel during your stay. The rates charged shall be as per the menu card of the hotel. For any meal consumption over and above meal credit you will be required to pay directly at the hotel. Meal credit does not include packed meals, consumption from Bar and taxes charged by hotel on meal served. During International stay customer get free breakfast in place of meal credit.

2. All expenses other than mentioned above including but not restricted to following will be borne by the end user: Travel, Transportation & Conveyance, additional food, Incidentals, Applicable Taxes, additional accommodation and other facilities offered by the hotels that may be availed by the customer during their stay

3. The package (hotel stay) must be availed within 12 months from the date of purchase/ activation and request to avail the package must reach us within 11 months from the date of purchase.

4. The "Claim / Booking request form" cannot be sold, redeemed for cash, gifted or transferred. There is no cash alternative for this offer. All reservations are strictly subject to availability.

5. Each 'Claim / booking request form" shall be treated and processed as individual request and the same cannot be clubbed together in any manner. Maximum of two booking request on different names can be club together.

6. "Service Provider" reserves the right to refuse to redeem the booking request if submitted by persons other than the registered buyer. The customer who has bought the package must be one of the persons travelling against booking. Booking confirmations will be sent only on the name of the registered customer.

7. Request for reservations is restricted in exclusion period as mentioned in front of each destination in destination list. Also right to avail the hotel booking for all destinations will be restricted for 2 days prior & 2 days afterwards of all long weekends, National Holidays and festivals. For eg.- Diwali, Dussehra, Holi, 2nd october, 15th August, 26th January etc.

8. In the booking request form the eligible customer must state 1 destination and 2 different dates with minimum 7 days difference between the departure dates. "IHSPL" will use reasonable endeavors to book you in any available combination and/or sequence (L-D1, L-D2) from your chosen dates and/or destinations. Booking request forms not meeting this criteria are liable to be rejected and can be re-processed within validity period only. In the unlikely event of none of the combination/sequence being available Service Provider shall offer alternate destination or date at their absolute discretion which may be before or after the preferred dates opted by the customer. Such an alternative offer shall fulfill all obligations to the customer.

9. If your booking is within the period of 20 to 30 days then your booking will be confirmed within 7 days of receipt of your voucher & you will be intimated about the destination booked & if the booking is for later period then you will receive the confirmation 7 days prior to the check inn date via sms & e-mail both and you will be provided the hotel name 3 days prior to the check inn date.

10. In the event of non-availability of room at the listed hotel, accommodation shall be provided in hotel of similar standard.

11. Hotels at time of check-in demand from original government issued photo identity proof absence of same at time of check-in shall result in hotel rejecting to accept your stay. In such a case VisionRoots or Service Provider shall not be liable to arrange alternate accommodation.

12. No cancellation or amendment is possible after confirmation of booking. In the event of customer not availing the confirmed accommodation no replacement or alternate reservation shall be offered. The use of the confirmation letter is subject to the rules and regulations of the hotel(s). The use of the confirmation letter by the customer shall be deemed as an acceptance to the rules and regulations of the hotel(s).

13. The use of the confirmation letter is subject to the rules and regulations of the hotel(s) to maintain decorum. The use of the confirmation letter by the customer shall be deemed as an acceptance to the rules and regulations of the hotel(s).
14. "VisionRoots" reserves the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw, change, alter or modify this offer or any part there of including but not limited to the eligibility criteria or hotel list and destinations at its sole discretion anytime during its validity as may be required and the same shall be binding on the customer.

15. Any disputes, controversies or conflicts ("Disputes") arising out of this offer shall be referred to a sole arbitrator to be appointed by "VisionRoots" and "Service Provider". The Place of arbitration shall be Chandigarh and the language used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English. The Courts at Chandigarh shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of all the subject matter with relation to this offer.

16. The provision of the holiday package is subject to force majeure conditions.
